Can you help me with the flight tickets to Galapagos?
Galapagos Last Minutes can help you arrange the flight tickets to and from the Galapagos. If you can give us the route you want to fly to and from the Galapagos, we will check the price for the flight tickets for you.

Below are the possible flight routes from which you can choose to fly to the Galapagos:

Quito – Galapagos – Quito
Quito – Galapagos – Guayaquil
Guayaquil – Galapagos – Quito
Guayaquil – Galapagos – Guayaquil

Some boat companies require the customer to book the flight tickets with them, so that all passengers for the cruise arrive at the airport on the Galapagos at the same time. If you do not book the flight tickets via the boat company, a ‘penalty fee’ will be charged. This penalty fee differs per boat company. If you want more information about this, please contact us.

I travel alone, what are my options on the Galapagos?
No problem when travelling alone. Galapagos Last Minutes also offers opportunities for visiting the Galapagos Islands for solo travelers. If you want to take a cruise to explore the islands, you can book one place on a boat. You will share a cabin with a fellow traveler (with most boats, you can share the cabin with a fellow traveler of the same sex). The cheaper cruise boats can not guarantee 100% that you share the cabin with another person of the same sex but they try to organize this as well as possible.

If you want a cabin for yourself, you buy two spaces on a boat. For the ‘second’ place on a boat, you pay a certain percentage. This percentage depends on which boat you choose. If you are interested in booking a cabin for yourself, you can contact us and we will inform you about the extra costs.

For a land tour you pay as a single traveller, an extra charge for the single room in the hotels. You can contact us for the extra charge for a tour.

What is the difference between a land tour and a cruise?
During a cruise you sail (especially at night) from island to island and you visit different islands with the animals and plants that occur. During the day you will go with the guide and your group to visit the islands. There are snorkeling opportunities. You eat and sleep on the boat.

During a land tour you will visit two or three islands, where you will view the plants and animals on those islands.  During the island hopping tour you will sleep in hotels on the different islands and there is also time for other activities such as mountain biking, horseback riding and snorkeling. In the evening you can also get to know the bars and discotheques on the island.

How do I make a reservation?
If you are interested in one of the cruises or land tours we offer, we can take an option for you on a cabin on a boat or in a room in a hotel (for the country tours). This option gives you time to arrange the financing and documents that we need to make the reservation.
If we have received confirmation of the payment, we can make the final reservation.
If you want to make a final reservation, we would like to receive the following information for making the reservations:

a copy of the passport;
the name and telephone number of a person in your home country, which we can reach in case of an emergency;
the dining requirements for during the cruise;
the flight data to and from Galapagos if you want to book the flight tickets yourself (the airline, the flight numbers, the departure and arrival times);
the name and telephone number of the hotel where you will be staying the night before the cruise / tour starts (in case of emergency).

With this information we make the reservation for the cruise / tour for you. If we have received confirmation from the boat, we will let you know. The payment to the boat company will be made by us. If we receive the voucher from the boat, we will send it to you by e-mail with the general information letter.
